National Performance System Development

Healthcare is vital to individuals, communities and to a country as a whole. A National Performance System (NPS) is a key tool for any public health organization to identify major areas of transformation needed within the healthcare system. The NPS examines existing healthcare facilities, services, access, awareness and patient care where key indicators and drivers are identified, measured and analyzed to ensure that national health goals are met.

Our holistic understanding of healthcare systems puts us in a favorable position to develop a NPS that exceeds our clients’ expectations.

Health Financing Model

The affordability of healthcare services is a key issue for governments. Ultimately, every country faces the need for governmental funding of health care either for the total population or at least for vulnerable groups. Government funding is necessary also for services that insurance plans avoid or are inefficient in reaching. Health financing involves not only methods of raising money for health care, but also allocation of those funds. There is competition for funds in any system, and the way in which money is allocated affects not only the way the services are provided but also in setting priorities. How to structure and finance a national health system remains a key issue with the advancement of technology, quality standards and increase of population. Health financing schemes usually raise revenues from several sources and are operated by more than one type of institutional units or financing agents. The main challenge is to sustain funding and ensure high quality care while reasonable coverage is provided to the patient.

Our exposure to various healthcare financing schemes from out-of-pocket to social insurance gave us a deep contextual insight to what works and where.
